The services

StarDev provides software development services and operates StarDev Email, a business mailbox service at stardevemail.dev. Mailbox accounts are issued by the domain owner; you may use the service only with an account issued to you.

SMS alerts program

Text alerts are optional and off by default. You switch them on yourself in Settings → Alerts by entering your own mobile number. By doing so you agree to receive automated text messages at that number about new mail in the mailboxes you enabled.

• Messages come from (845) 237-3819.
• Frequency varies — one message per incoming email; typically a few per day.
• Message and data rates may apply. StarDev does not charge for alerts.
• Reply STOP to stop messages. Reply HELP for help, or email info@stardev.dev.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
• No marketing or promotional messages are sent through this program.

Replying by text, call or forwarded email

A reply beginning with the word respond is sent as an email from your mailbox address to the sender of the message you were alerted about. You are responsible for the content of anything sent from your mailbox this way, and for making sure you are answering the message you intend to.

Acceptable use

Do not use the services to send unlawful, abusive or unsolicited bulk messages, or to impersonate anyone. We may suspend an account that does.

Availability and liability

The services are provided as is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted delivery of mail, texts or calls, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from a delayed or undelivered message.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
