SMS Alerts Program
Text-message notifications for StarDev Email mailboxes.
Program description
StarDev operates StarDev Email, a business mailbox service at stardevemail.dev. Account holders may choose to be alerted by text message when new email arrives in a mailbox they are responsible for. Each alert names the sender and the subject and includes a short preview of the message.
You can answer an email directly from the text: reply beginning with the word
respond, and the rest of your message is sent as an email reply
from your own mailbox address.
How you opt in
Alerts are off by default. To turn them on you sign in to your own StarDev Email account, open Settings → Alerts for your mailbox, tick Text me, and type in your own mobile number. Saving that form is the consent event and it is recorded against your account. StarDev never enters a number on your behalf, and never buys, rents or imports phone number lists.
Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase and is not required to use StarDev Email — the same alerts are available by email or by phone call.
Message frequency
Frequency varies: one message per incoming email to the mailboxes you have enabled, typically a few per day. No marketing or promotional messages are ever sent through this program.
Cost
StarDev does not charge for alerts. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
Opting out and getting help

Your information
